LevelUp 1:1 Programs

I’ve treated athletes in the Stanford University training room and have worked with numerous D1 and Elite gymnasts, and despite an immense amount of training, I see consistent gaps in physical and neural preparation that can limit performance, resilience and resistance to injury.

I’ve designed each program to provide a more complete foundation for high-performing young athletes, and to help Elite and collegiate gymnasts find hidden capacity, to uncover the extra 1% of performance that can make all the difference.

READY TO RISE

For gymnasts 11-18 years old currently or seeking to compete at the Elite or collegiate levels, and who want proven tools to build a complete foundation for a long and successful career.

  • The Ready to Rise packages are custom programs to help high-achieving athletes leap past limiting obstacles, optimize brain-body connections, and find freedom from things they believe they have to endure ‘because it’s gymnastics.’ Gymnasts will get performance and recovery tools they can use immediately and that they can use throughout their careers.

    Potential areas of focus

    • Splits flexibility

    • Shoulder and back flexibility

    • Skill consistency

    • Amplitude and execution

    • Generating more speed and power

    • Problems with vision and dizziness

    PACKAGE OPTIONS
10-Session Transformation: For foundational change, addressing and optimizing multiple performance areas from the list above. $1800 or $625 x 3 payments

4-Session Intensive: For a single issue or to receive a customized neuro warm-up program. $725

PEAK PERFORMANCE & RECOVERY

For Elite and collegiate gymnasts 18+ who want to optimize physical readiness, performance capacity and recovery so you feel better and perform better more consistently.

  • Gymnasts often wear pain and struggle like a badge of honor, but you don’t have to live with that nagging bit of back/ankle/wrist stiffness that takes forever to warm-up, that’s limiting performance on skills. or that constantly requires therapy to alleviate. I’ll shape a custom program of drills that you can do on your own just about anywhere, at any time to tune your body, whether that’s flexibility or a boost of power when you’re fatigued.

    Potential areas of focus:

    • Accelerating physical readiness

    • Rediscovering ‘lost’ flexibility

    • Tools for relieving a tight back and shoulders

    • Skill and routine consistency

    • Amplitude and execution

    • Generating more speed and power

    • Efficient and effective recovery tools

    PACKAGE OPTIONS

5-Session Intensive: For a single issue or to receive a customized neuro warm-up program. $750

Bi-Monthly Tune-up & Transformation: Two sessions per month for on-going support to address specific obstacles as they arise, and to begin your path to discovering greater ease and efficiency in training and competition. Includes occasional a-synch support between sessions. $350 / month

HOW IT WORKS

The first step is an initial consultation. During this session, we’ll go over near- and far-term goals, current obstacles, and injury history, if any. Then I’ll do several core assessments to determine if you’ll benefit from a brain-based program. The vast majority of athletes respond well to neuro performance drills, but we want to confirm this before you commit to a program.

Assuming we get a green light, we’ll schedule your first session and get started on your performance transformation.

What happens during the sessions?

  • Every program begins with a thorough set of assessments of the key inputs to high performance: visual skills, vestibular system reactivity, coordination and motor control.

  • We then use a detailed process to design the optimal program of neuro performance drills designed to remove known or hidden obstacles and boost specific performance areas, including flexbility, balance, amplitude or form.

  • Each week, we’ll refine or progress the drills to ensure that you’re making progress, that you’re noticing real differences in practice.

  • Depending on the number and complexity of specific obstacles, we may stay focused on those, or may move onto things like:

    • Motor control training to expand and refine your movement vocabulary to become a more adaptable and resilient athlete.

    • Accelerating warm-up

    • Recovery tools
